Windland Tours made our Portugal vacation a very memorable and special one. Our private tour guides Gonçalo Oliveira and his wife Vera Oliveira were very professional, friendly, accomodating and knowledgeable. With them, we learned a lot about Portugal's interesting history that we did not know before. I was never interested in history even in our visits in Italy, but our Windland tour guides were so good that we had nice discussions. We saw and experienced the wonders of Portugal and made us want to visit the country again. We did not feel any stress compared to other small group tours we've had in Portugal. In contrast to other company we hired for 1 private tour (guide was late and did not even take us to one site that was supposed to be included in the tour), Gonçalo and Vera gave us top quality tours. Since it was our first time to visit, we had a very hard time finding tours from Fatima to other cities because most web agencies have a lot of tours coming from Lisbon. It was such a luck to find one offered by Windland tours, and it was also possible to arrange a tailor-made tour for us (not offered anywhere) in the last minute. Had we known they also pick up visitors from Lisbon Airport to Fatima (even start a tour along the way in between) we could have just hired them because we basically wasted 1 whole day by metro, then bus, and finally taxi in Fatima bus station to our hotel.
